This is life now in McLennan County where our Sheriff and his Chief Deputy are under investigation and haven’t learned one damned thing.
Another corrupted by Par little by little, ex deputy. Oh, he still has his reserve license sitting over at the MCSO so he can brag to people he’s still law enforcement when he takes their hard earned money and drives off never to be seen again with it.
This isn’t the first DJ Adams post, nope, and he just will not stop.
We started with Kathy Kelsey a hard working woman who saved up money for years for a fence project, DJ came, they gave him money, now he won’t even call them again.
Go to the cops. Yep. Sheriff’s. Yep. Nothing.
Now we have Aaron Gufstason, another hard working man, DJ did it to him too. Now, we have learned something together, WE must post people like DJ on Social Media and
DO IT OURSELVES.
Yes, people have gone to the cops, and the MCSO, they get told that it’s civil.
Well it’s civil because you don’t have anything, no money, no interest. You’re poor, so it’s Civil and you’re screwed.
That said, and no offense to Mel Priest, I love the woman, however, Mel has stroke, and when she got ripped off, Par moved heaven and hell and sent deputies to North Dakota to pick up the contractor. It’s theft, folks, if you have money, if you don’t, well, it’s Civil.

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – UPDATE: The owner of a local construction company who has been the target of numerous complaints about uncompleted projects, shoddy work, and construction materials missing from job sites has been arrested in North Dakota and is awaiting extradition back to McLennan County, Sheriff Parnell McNamara confirmed to KWTX.
Clayton Yost, of Crawford, was arrested Thursday by the U.S. Marshall’s Lone Star Fugitive task force and the McLennan County F.A.S.T unit.
Yost is charged with two counts of theft by deception in connection with a local plumber who claims he was not paid for several projects, and a land owner near Bosqueville who had hired Clayton Construction to build a home.
Yep, Ridin Herd on the Lawless, maybe, maybe not. Depends on your inclination to give this ancient has been degenerate offspring of an illustrious sire money pure and simple.
Well, DJ, click on the song below by my favorite, John Hiatt,
In the middle of the night with your covers pulled up tight, it’s gonna come to you…..

Below is DJ Adams, a nice looking young man who will tell you he has a reserve deputy license with MCSO and gain your trust, don’t let him do it.
Tell your friends, unfortunately, this fool has probably a really nice wife and kids but it would appear he won’t quit for them. We suspect drugs, or gambling or perhaps a drinking problem that is driving him to steal from people but DJ, everyone’s got your number now.
Fkn stop it. Get some help, Dude.
Time for an intervention folks.

Okay contractor and construction friends. What do you do if you have a local vendor who has failed to perform, took a down payment, and doesn’t have a formal contract but everything is documented? And the customer has decided to terminate them for failure to communicate or show up on time (or at all).
If you request the deposit back and they refuse to refund it after being fired, do you put a lien against their business? Do you blast them on social media (obviously I feel like this is the last thing you do and only when you’re positive you’ll never get the money back).
How long do you give them to refund the money before moving to the next option of recourse?
What are the options?

For all my friends on Facebook and elsewhere, 10/10 do NOT recommend The Guys Services of Central Texas. At this point they’re just thieves. And what’s sad is his wife seems to be pretty well respected. I hired them, and paid them a $2,000 deposit 30 days before project was supposed to start. After several missed start dates and my dog starting to have anxiety from no fence, I asked for a refund, and they ghosted me. To be clear, they didn’t spend any money on materials, and all of their information online is incorrect. I can’t believe people still think this is okay in 2025.
Personal edit: After thinking about this for a night, I’d like to ask that my friend share this as well. While it’s 2025 and the age of misinformation and disinformation is rampant, I am pretty confident that what I have said and what can be found about this contractor is true and appalling and I think we should work harder to call this kind of behavior out.
So please share this post as well.
