WACO MCLENNAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT ONLY LAW ENFORCEMENT ENTITY IN THE STATE OF TEXAS WITHOUT BODY CAMS. YOU GONNA LET THIS STAND?
You have a deputy in your school to protect your kids. I am sure you know this BUT did you know that the deputy in your school has NO BODY CAMERA. He will be your first line of defense if a school shooter happens to target WEST ISD. He is not allowed to have a body cam per Sheriff Parnell McNamara himself.
ONE MAN.
While McNamara said his office has upgraded equipment for officers, including in-car video systems, the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office remains in a small minority of law enforcement agencies statewide that does not provide body cameras for its deputies.
McNamara said after the luncheon he thinks the sheriff’s office “eventually” will get body cameras for officers.
Really, old boy, WHEN?
UVALDE was a fuck up, the Rangers, DPS, local police all of them, they were cowards and we saw it for ourselves on THEIR BODYCAMERAS.
IF something happens here, you, the parents of West, China Spring, Lorena, Abbott, on and on will have NOTHING.
Do you care about your kids, hell yes you do.
DO NOT LET ONE MAN WITH A GIRLFRIEND IN PRISON HE’S SCARED OF KEEP HIS OWN MEN FROM HAVING BODY CAMS FOR YOUR PROTECTION AND THEIRS.
