This is in response to KWTX GETS HOT
I feel ya on this. I actually met a few folks the other night whose names I recognized from various different things I can prove vs. those I’ve heard.
My feelings are this after having sources in and out of the SO.
I think every man and woman that went to work at the Sheriff’s department, Waco PD, Bellmead, DPS, whatever started out with a pure heart and good intentions, wanting to get the bad guy. I believe that.
I believe that they get to be a BROTHERHOOD, and that there are, at times, things that come in where an officer has some power, say, a walk through of a relative or friend, and they bend the rules a bit that night, or a friend gets stopped and they let them go.
“I get it”, and have a heart about this.
I know the minor players who dabbled for a brief time, I sort of feel sorry for them because they did something, other people did a whole lot worse, say, doubledipping, the Eubanks, BUT they backed off.
They’re probably not going to admit doing something, but, it’s the GREAT UNSAID.
Par has elevated people who definitely DOUBLE DIPPED, TxDot, Federal Department of Transportation, that’s still going on, besides, they double dipped, face it. Look at the records.
Instead of having key cards like normal places, Par keeps the employees putting up a “W”, which gives them leeway to do whatever they want, same with NO BODY CAMS, Par’s old, this proves his age, it also proves that we don’t have body cams because Par doesn’t want us to hear little Sherre call his name.
That said, whatever infraction Ricky Armstrong has done, I certainly don’t have a written record of it, I have Amber Aguirre’s time sheets and guess what, no double dipping.
Whatever or if Ricky has done things, he probably also helped others, “in that moment”.
You give me overnight to make a decision I’ll probably make the right one, something that just affronts me, some kneejerk thing, I may make the wrong choice.
Ricky Armstrong, I assure you has not had a vote in the Body Cam decision.
Ricky Armstrong was at the jail a long time, let the deputy who is without sin, bring it.
Do not think for one minute that I haven’t “looked into” Ricky Armstrong. I have.
Whatever there is, no one has come forward with it to me, and there are no records of infractions.

If you have something and want to be a source, I’ll hop on it but until then, Ricky is not on KWTX while on the job.
Obviously, someone at the PD is, and they’re the wife of Jason Barnum.
Ricky Armstrong has not made it to the paper in some kind of bad story, I googled it.
I do not know Ricky Armstrong, wouldn’t if he walked in, nor do I know his wife.
