That problem is Harry. See, if the State of Texas requires all law enforcement officers to keep their body cams ON, then, obviously, the State of Texas is assuming that everyone has a body cam.
Guess they didn’t recon ole Parnell would make the statement that there would be NO BODY CAMS as long as he’s Sheriff.
He doesn’t want body cams because they’d show and record his officers making racist statements, and other comments, body cams would have showed his deputies trying to talk the Simons family out of pressing charges on the Sheriff’s favorite Shack Job Sherre Johnston, and body cams would probably show high ranking officers at the jail getting sexual favors in the parking lot.
Yeah, seems old Evans and Conley have girlfriends at the jail and everyone knows it. Always good for morale. Well, perhaps not everyone knows it as most of these people are married. Oh, well, Parnell was never faithful so why should his boys be?
So, we have the State of Texas saying leave your body cams on and Par saying no body cams.
Hmmmm.
Is it time for the Citizens of this County to contact the State of Texas with this problem?

Are these women at the jail so uneducated that they can’t figure out they sit on a gold mine? Past and present females, band together and go to Dallas, Houston, hell Austin, or San Antonio, Jeff Goldberg is based in SA, file the lawsuit from hell and enjoy the money the taxpayers will fork out. It’s not hard.
Only then will it change, maybe.
