This is Lillie Hefele being hugged by her murderer husband Gerry Hefele. He became a gambler, lost thousands to Ash, took out an insurance policy on her and her 3 year old granddaughter and before you know it, she’d been shot almost in half by a high powered rifle after being burned and tortured by someone with a cigar.
However, Johnny got his seed money from putting her in the grave, and went on to be a respectable member of the fine Waco community. Threatening her family for over 40 years but that was ok.
Tick Tock Parnell McNamara, how dare you take a good young man deputy who liked his job who felt justice and justice was within his grasp for Lillie and her family, and YOU through January because you’re a coward, took him off of it.

You go, big guy. I guarantee you I’m going to be on a first name with this DA within hours. He’s going to hear all about you and how you sold out a 100 pound woman year after year for, what a grand in a tip jar from Johnny Ash. Yeah, Johnny’s gone now, old man, and nobody’s scared of you.
Netflix was already doing a documentary on three cases, including Hefele, I’ve been sitting on that, and you can bet Harriet Ramos will be in your business really soon.

The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office is forming a cold case task force to address unsolved homicides and other violent crimes in the area, the DA’s office said in a news release Thursday. The task force aims to harness advanced DNA technology and digital forensics to identify suspects. The group will be composed of prosecutors and investigators who will work in conjunction with law enforcement and forensics labs.
