Hire a Ranger’s wife and don’t worry about another thing. The Rangers should be embarrassed but, once again, they’re not. They think that getting OTHER Sheriffs from other places makes up for the PISS POOR JOB they’ve done on Par.
Bradley Freeman, how did they break you?

What in the world is going on?
Elected officials left and right are getting arrested or indicted.
Meanwhile, we are sitting here waiting for the Rangers to do the right thing here in McLennan County. Parnell McNamara is a thief. He has abused his office, conducted numerous unethical—if not illegal—activities, and yet there has been no justice.
We, as McLennan County citizens, have watched as scandal after scandal has rocked our local law enforcement department. This began in 2013 with lawsuits. We have seen our Sheriff use his county credit card on vacations multiple times, each time receiving nothing more than a slap on the wrist. We have witnessed his administration, staff, and detectives commit theft while sitting on a security job for the State of Texas. He has been accused of moving his brother’s body and covering up evidence. He stood beside a female deputy who was found guilty of a felony for assisting bikers and begged her to stay on staff. He has stood by deputies who committed illegal stops and arrests and justified their actions.
Now, as his time draws to an end, we are mired in multiple lawsuits involving the same attorney who gouged taxpayers for millions of dollars in 2013. Fitting that the end mirrors the beginning.
However, the most egregious accusation is the victimization of every tax-paying citizen of McLennan County.
Parnell McNamara knew what he was doing was wrong and refused to do the right thing—much like Texas Ranger Sgt. Bradley Freeman. Ranger Freeman is a coward and should know he was selected to run this investigation because he could be controlled. Parnell McNamara, and the people he surrounds himself with, have access to the Governor. Freeman works under the Governor’s office. He has been tasked with making this go away.
Bradley, you don’t deserve the title of Ranger. You have turned your back on Texas, justice, and your oath. We all know the evidence. We know the text messages, the emails, and the statements made to Parnell warning him to stop using employee labor for ranch work. We know that Charlotte said the deputy worked for her and that she told him to hide when people came over.
Most importantly, there is one thing you cannot hide: the timesheets and medical records. The deputy was injured while clearing trees at Parnell’s ranch, yet the county paid him for that day as if he were on patrol. We know Parnell directed that deputy not to file a workers’ compensation claim. Why wouldn’t he make the claim if he were on the clock? Because he was at the ranch. We know the details.
We also know that if you return that report to the Ellis County District Attorney, a Grand Jury will have no choice but to indict our Sheriff. Instead, you are playing a “wait and see” game in an attempt to protect him from the justice you swore to uphold. You are hoping to let the clock run out because you cannot save him, and if you go against what has been requested of you, you will not be able to save your career.
You are no different than the elected officials who have been arrested or indicted by your own office. You are part of the group that compromises integrity for greed, power, or promotion.
Deliver the report. No single Ranger should decide the fate of this case. That responsibility belongs to a Grand Jury. The evidence should be presented, witnesses should be called, and the citizens of McLennan County deserve a transparent decision based on facts—not politics, influence, or fear of career consequences.
Ellis County says you have stopped communicating with them. Let them decide. Let the Grand Jury hear the facts.
Call the witnesses and do your damn job.
Your colleagues, family, and friends are aware of your position on this case. They may not judge you for being afraid to do the right thing, but the citizens of this county will—and you will forever live with the consequences of cowardice, lazy ineptness, and complicity in a public corruption cover-up.
