Well hello, Harry.

As 2025 limps toward the finish line and we pretend 2026 might be different, I find myself asking the same question I ask every time I read one of your posts

What the actual hell is going on in McLennan County?

Let’s start with the basics, shall we?

Apparently, we’re still tolerating men who choke and sexually assault their girlfriends. No big deal, right? We’ve got bargain-bin lawyers puffing their chests and insulting anyone who dares to question the system (MONTEZ). And then there’s our beloved county judge — the human embodiment of a good-old-boy heirloom — who seems really eager to slide his son into position so Junior can one day inherit the corruption like fine China.

Yes, I’m talking about Scott Felton — the little Smurf lurking behind the bench — clearly grooming his son to keep the Felton family tradition alive and well. Nepotism? In McLennan County? Say it ain’t so.

Now, the good people here are fully aware of the cronyism, the theft, the lies, and the judicial gymnastics that happen daily. Nobody’s confused. They’re just exhausted.

Moving on.

We’ve got Ralph Strothers, who looks old enough to have signed the Magna Carta, filling in for Jon Gimble — who decided to run for another office. Planning clearly isn’t a job requirement around here.

And my god what is with the District Clerk Race? I am sick and tired of seeing one particular candidates promotions especially after her record or lack of when she was with McLennan County Sheriff Department and stealing time on the highway, forging county documents taking vacation on county taxpayers expense…so let’s put the scale of justice up there DWI Expunged 18 years sober on one side and an array of things on the other side. Things that make you go hmm, Oh, let’s not forget SHE did her online classes on County time don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house: You can put lipstick on a pig and it is still a pig!!

Which brings me to a public service announcement

People — Google the candidates.

Not just the first page. Keep scrolling. The good stuff is buried on page five for a reason. Every one of these folks has a closet, and its less “skeletons” and more “mass grave.

Next up: Thomas “Sex Pest” West.

Why is this man still in office? He is a walking HR violation. A courtroom creep. A serial harasser of women who somehow keeps his job while the county collectively shrugs. Where is the outrage? Where are the commissioners? Where is any accountability?

But don’t worry — it gets better.

Ah yes, the Parnell McNamara Saga, now entering what feels like its tenth season

Let’s recap:

Parnell openly admitted on KWTX Channel 10 — to Tommy Witherspoon’s face — that he used county employees, including John Crowley and deputies, to work on his personal property. That’s not “misunderstanding.” That’s theft of taxpayer money.

Everyone loves to complain about taxes, but nobody wants to stop the hemorrhaging when the guy holding the knife has a badge and friends in Austin.

We’re talking hundreds of thousands of dollars. And please spare me the “old family money” excuse. His daddy was a Marshall back when they were still supposed to be “Public Servants”. Public record exists. Math exists. If you spend more than you make, you’re spending someone else’s money — and in this case, it’s our taxpayer’s money and them envelopes slide across the table for favors!!!. UNTAXED FAVORS!

Parnell doesn’t even show up to work, yet he’s paid handsomely to stay home while his chosen chaos agent, Cody Blossman, torpedoes morale at the jail. And yes, people should Google him too — including that little alleged Dallas airport gun incident that allegedly vanished thanks to daddy’s Secret Service connections. Rumor? Maybe. Convenient? Absolutely.

Now the real magic trick:

Still no indictment.

Despite a grand jury complaint sent over a year ago.

Why? Because Parnell is wrapped in political bubble wrap courtesy of Pat Curry, Doc Anderson, Pete Sessions, and apparently Greg Abbott himself — all protecting him like he’s the Crown Jewels instead of a public employee who treats county resources like his personal Home Depot card.

If you or I violated probation the way Jay Justice allegedly did, we’d already be decorating a cell. But here? The good-old-boy system works overtime.

And yes — credit where it’s due — one good thing did happen. Miss Sharp is finally receiving proper medical care and has her family back. That matters. That’s real. And it happened because people refused to shut up. Thank you Harry

So here we are.

Google every candidate.

Do your homework.

Stop voting for last names and handshakes.

And while you’re at it, vote Abbott out — he’s knee-deep in the same swamp. I happen to like the flight surgeon running against him, but hey, I’m just a fan of accountability.

Harry, keep doing what you’re doing.

Eventually they’ll admit you were right — that Parnell did it, and more.

Let’s head into 2026 with fewer favors, less nepotism, and a whole lot more consequences.

McLennan County: do better. Or at least stop pretending you are

End the nepotism.

End the favors.

End the protection racket.

Or keep pretending this is normal.

McLennan County: this is your mess. Fix it.

🚨 McLennan County: The Network Voters Can’t Ignore (2025 → 2026)

This is not gossip.

This is not politics.

This is power protecting itself — with money, favors, silence, and obedience.

If this feels uncomfortable, good.

It should.

🔴 THE CORE PROBLEM

McLennan County is run through a good-old-boy system built on:

  • Money and favors
  • Nepotism over merit
  • Protection over prosecution
  • Silence over accountability
  • One set of rules for insiders, another for everyone else

This is not a coincidence.

It’s a cultureL

🔥 SOME OF THE PLAYERS (NAME BY NAME)

Parnell McNamara – Sheriff

FACT (on camera):

  • McNamara admitted on KWTX Channel 10 to using county employees, including deputies, to work on his personal property.
  • That is misuse of taxpayer-funded labor.
  • NOT RUMORS FACTS HE DID IT HE SAID HE DID IT!

FACT:

  • A grand jury complaint was submitted over a year ago.
  • No indictment. No explanation. No accountability.
  • Protected by the Texas Rangers and high ranking politicians!

WIDELY HELD BELIEF / RUMOR (clearly labeled):

  • McNamara allegedly did dirty deeds cheap — favors quietly exchanged, problems quietly buried envelopes with money..

REALITY:

  • Paid while reportedly absent from daily duties at the Sheriff Department
  • long employed jailers have never seen him at the jail in all of his term.
  • NO audit of evidence room ever done under his rein.
  • He used County property in his campaign ads that is illegal.

BOTTOM LINE:

If you or I did this, we’d be charged already.

The lack of consequences is the scandal.

Cody Blossman – Chief Deputy

INTERNAL REPORTS:

  • Jail morale is tanked.
  • Retention is failing.
  • Leadership complaints are constant.
  • Jail standards are horrible jail has been cited for failures
  • Sex and affairs among staff are rampant.
  • Failures among deputies are routinely covered up.

EXPERIENCE PROBLEM:

  • Blossman reportedly has less experience than many jailers he supervises.
  • Allegedly stacked leadership with his own good-old boys instead of qualified professionals.
  • Blossmans lack of experience has led to many failures at the jail.

ALLEGED (widely discussed):

  • Blossman carried a firearm into The Dallas airport, and it was confiscated not sure if he was charged or not.
  • All information allegedly vanished without consequence due to his father’s Secret Service connections.
  • His daddy was on Bushes Secret Service assignment.

BOTTOM LINE:

Inexperience plus protection equals disaster —

and the jail is paying the price.

Thomas West – District Judge

REPEATED ACCUSATIONS:

  • Sexually harassing women in his courtroom.
  • Known reputation as a serial courtroom creep.

FACT:

  • Still on the bench.
  • Still protected.
  • Still no consequences.
  • Female employees have left because of his behavior.
  • Baylor Law School will not send interns to his court because of his inappropriate behavior.

BOTTOM LINE:

Any private employee would be fired.

Judges are not exempt from basic human decency.

Scott Felton – County Judg

WHAT HE HAS DONE:

  • Nothing.

WHAT HE HAS IGNORED:

  • McNamara
  • Blossman
  • West
  • Jail collapse
  • Judicial misconduct
  • Corruption complaints

NEPOTISM CONCERN:

  • Appears to be grooming his son as “next up.”

THE BIGGER PROBLEM:

  • County commissioners do not think independently.
  • Not one commissioner publicly challenges anything.
  • They reportedly wait for Felton to tell them what to do.

BOTTOM LINE:

This county doesn’t have checks and balances.

It has followers.

County Commissioners – ALL OF THEM

FACT:

  • No outrage.
  • No demands.
  • No backbone.

BOTTOM LINE:

When everyone stays silent,

silence becomes corruption.

Ralph Strothers – Acting District Clerk (Former District Judge)

FACT:

  • Retired as a district judge.
  • Hired by an inexperienced and widely criticized DA.
  • Then shuffled into the acting district clerk position.

ETHICAL FAILURE:

  • Allegedly failed to properly recuse himself from cases he had prior involvement in.
  • Instead of accountability, leadership moved him sideways.

BOTTOM LINE:

If you can’t recognize a conflict of interest,

you shouldn’t be recycled into another office.

Josh Tetens – District Attorney

HOW HE GOT ELECTED:

  • Rode into office on Parnell McNamara’s coattails.
  • Misrepresented his opponent during the campaign.

PROFESSIONAL REPUTATION (widely held opinion):

  • Previously a mediocre court-appointed attorney.
  • Seen as politically dependent and easily manipulated.
  • Viewed as doing what McNamara and his circle tell him to do.

BOTTOM LINE:

A DA who answers to the sheriff isn’t a prosecutor —

he’s a shield.

Pat Curry – State Representative

FACT:

  • Already racking up a controversial voting record.
  • Also rode in on Parnell’s coattail plus contributed to campaign!
  • Talks out both sides of his mouth.

CONCERN:

  • Voting patterns raise serious questions about:
    • Who he protects
    • Who he serves
    • Whether insiders matter more than constituents.

BOTTOM LINE:

You don’t need speeches to judge a politician.

Their votes tell the truth.

Greg Abbott – Governor of Texas

UNDISPUTED FACTS:

  • Abbott received a multi-million-dollar personal injury settlement after a tree fell on him while jogging.
  • Abbott later helped enact and defend caps on personal injury damages in Texas.

WHY PEOPLE NOTICE:

He benefited before limits were imposed.

  • Everyday Texans injured after those caps are legally barred from similar recovery.

More things that make you go “hmmm.”

BOTTOM LINE:

When leaders climb the ladder — then pull it up behind them —

trust dies.

Pete Sessions – U.S. Representative

FACT:

  • No visible action on local corruption.
  • No pressure for reform.
  • No urgency.
  • Has been asked to help no response!

BOTTOM LINE:

Federal office doesn’t excuse ignoring rot at home.

🧨 FINAL TAKEAWAY

This is not left vs right.

This is right vs wrong.

  • Money over ethics
  • Favors over law
  • Loyalty over truth
  • Silence over accountability

The system survives because people stop paying attention.
