When given the truth, Judge Vik knew what to do effortlessly, I’ve given him hell before but now, after that little smirk he gave Lawyer Armstrong, I have to have a big change of heart, he was downright cute.
Judge Vik was great, short, sweet, decided, and that’s that.
This is Judge Vik smiling because he got me off his ass today, for sure. I will also be taking down all the posts making fun of him. He really earned my respect today. I feel sure the last time when everyone was angry it was because lawyers and others had lied to him. Judges don’t like that either.
The Courtroom was pretty full of spectators there to see who would show up and who wouldn’t. For some reason Marcus Shanks was there, he is highly unattractive, I had heard that but never had seen him before. He was married and perhaps still lives with the drop dead gorgeous daughter of the late Mike McNamara, Margaret Rose, who never takes a bad picture and could have her pick of any man in this Berg. Marcus, well, there is the money…….. If I were a man and she was my girl, I wouldn’t be rooting for the bad guys at a Hearing. We think Chad etc. lie to Marcus and he believes them, he has money invested in their business so it’s natural he would like to protect it, however, this cannot be an ideal development and many people question the morality and common sense of him testifying that it was difficult for Chad to go in front of doctors and customers with the ankle bracelet. (God help us) They’re all big Christians too. Sigh.
You won’t find anyone that doesn’t think Marcus’ mom isn’t just the best. What an example to young women she is, very well respected. I’ve met her and agree.
I don’t know what miracle he thought there would be for his buddy, Chad, and there was no miracle just good government.
Friends for Life was appointed Johnnie Sharp’s Guardians and Chad Justice actually RESIGNED as Johnnie’s Guardian, thank you.
A bit of fun happened at the very end where Lawyer Armstrong for Chad asked that the Court keep them in the loop because Chad was an “interested party”. Judge Vik gave him a pretty cute quizzical look and tabled that motion. Obviously, Armstrong didn’t think he was going to win it anyway as he didn’t have an Order attached. Ha.
Brad and Ashley were there surrounded by supporters and everyone was satisfied that the right thing had been done.
All in all a pretty good day.
