It really pains me to see your article about Cody Blossman, most people do not realize that he is in fact an entitled son of a retired law enforcement officer that pulled a lot of strings to keep Cody’s past a secret…
He is no more qualified than Parnell McNamara to be the Sheriff of McLennan County. It is a shame that the corruption in McLennan County has gotten to this level.
Parnell McNamara should have been ousted this last election, he could have gone home quietly and hoped that no one really found out who he is. 50% of the voters let him know he is NOT Americas Sheriff!
How people bitch and grip about taxes going up but never go to a County Commissioners meeting is beyond me. By the way it is online you can watch it on your computer. See how much the Sheriff Department spends!
We as citizens should be outraged that a deputy spent most of his time working on Parnell and Charlotte’s personal property and the whole department was so afraid of losing their jobs, they didn’t say anything.
Every employee that did say something to Parnell are all gone now. Parnell and Charlotte picked them off one at a time little by little. Or they were so disgusted they left.
Also, am I the only one it bothers that the Charlotte McNamara was at this property with this deputy giving him orders? This was a fine-tuned Criminal Conspiracy to defraud the citizens of McLennan County out of money!
Parnell is not and has not ever been qualified to run a large department. What has he done besides be a “Deputy Marshall” and transport prisoners?
He talks about his successful businesses WHAT ARE THEY where is the proof!!! There are none and no proof. This man had a deputy take his State TCOLE test to be a licensed police officer in the State of Texas!!
Perpetrating fraud on the state of Texas and the people of McLennan County. AGAIN, Parnell is NOT qualified for office.
I lost any deeply buried respect that I might have had for the McNamara name when Parnell put himself in the middle of other political races. Now let’s ask ourselves why an elected official would do that.
In this case it was not to protect the citizens of McLennan County NO it was to protect himself and his supporters! He needed someone in the DA’s office that would intervene and Judges that owed him favors.

3. He has moral so low at the Sheriff Department I heard about it in a nail salon.
4. Uses his fathers’ connections to get himself out of trouble.
5. The jail is still understaffed moral is horrible
6. The taxpayers are picking up the bill for the overtime
7. NO experience in running a large department with a large budget.
8. Another entitled youngster trying to better himself at the expense of long tenured employees.
