Reader writes response to Fuller speaks out. I don’t care how you get there, just that Parnell really needs to go home.
There is TOOOOO much good old boy establishment control and TOOOOO little by far letting things go as this individual wrote. Law enforcement should serve all of the people, not just the few. I can tell you Parnell McNamara is fair, honorable, and a good man, but it has been shown he is not an administrator and the situation needs to be remedied. I respect Parnell above all, and I know from personal experience, he is the fairest of the fair and beyond kind. BUT I sincerely wish he would get Sheridan to do a weekly series as I think he could do far more for law enforcement in that manner, the media, than ever as Sheriff of this county. He is about the last of the old true law men, should be honored in every way, and if he went through media, he would get far more acclaim, probably even internationally, then he ever would as Sheriff, reap far more financial benefits, and do more good. I will always, always respect Parnell, but something is wrong and it needs to be, for the good of the residents of this county, corrected. Parnell’s been a fine and dedicated law man and no one could ever say he hasn’t been. But, his forte is far more in enforcement than administration. And I hope he reads this.
