To Bruce Woodhouse and Margaret Williams: your loyalty is unfounded. McNamara is not the best sheriff…not even close. He’s biased, racist, ignorant of law and policy, the worst manager of people, unethical, unprofessional, immoral and a liar. I, too, have been “there in the field” and have seen how he is. I can cite specific instances of each of the unbecoming adjectives I’ve used to describe him. In fairness, he can be a nice guy if he chooses but he’s nothing more than that. McNamara is consumed with expensive toys at the taxpayers’ expense. (Think boats, helicopters and armored military vehicles). He’s a womanizer. During the explosion in West, he would slip away to Lake Whitney with one particular female volunteer and be gone for hours. Another time he was supposedly helping a poor widow to appraise her late husband’s gun collection. Come to find out, this poor old widow was younger than him and he has known her since high school. According to McNamara, there was less appraisal business and more monkey business happening. The safe in his office and several expensive guns were gifts to him from this woman. Speaking of guns, do you remember when McNamara pawned over $10,000 worth of guns at a local pawn shop? Whose guns were they? Why did be need $10,000 so badly ? He was ignorant of the fact that a large pawn of so many guns would be reported to the Waco Police Department. Then, it leaked out to the public. Any real LEO would have known this…but not him. McNamara’s cronyism and favoritism at the MCSO has killed morale and caused the highest employee turnover in the history of the department. I will end with this, I personally heard him say, “Matt, I f-ing hate n——rs”. Fill in those blanks and tell the people how proud you are to “back Parnell”. One more thing, when people call him the champion of human trafficking all I can hear are the stories he tells of all the brothels he frequented from Waco to the “boys’ towns” in Mexico when he was young. Did you know that the Sheriff’s department is JUST NOW getting body cams? No kidding. Only law enforcement entity in the State of Texas without body cams. I found out when a deputy told me, THE DEPUTIES wanted them too.

Tom Thank you. It’s a form, you fill it out. Since WE are the only ones without body cams there’s plenty of money. They’ll say anything for Parnell. Wish people would just google it. That’s why you should vote for Jeff Agurirre for Sheriff. Big changes need to be made. If not mistaken, this was high on his list for the safety of the deputies. Little strange it’s happening now.

Out of all the arrests and hoopla over the stings at the massage partlor and others diuring the past five years only ONE was convicted. ONE. True

Instead of complaining, get out there, volunteer and see what real happens behind the scenes. Do you really trust the Waco paper, or is it being used for polticial purposes. I’ve been there in the field and I back Parnell.

Don’t waste your time with these people. The author has multiple sentences that make no sense, another thinks it is the kids fault for being trafficked, and they all have no respect for the law. Let them go to Austin or back to California where the police are nonexistent. The MCSO has been doing a great job, and no, not everyone needs a body cam. If not on patrol, there is no need for them.
