U.S. Judge Walter Smith Jr. of Waco; pervert’s punishment  The state of Texas presented Walter Scott Smith Jr. with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from Baylor University Law School. President Ronald Reagan was duped into appointing Walt to a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in 1984. Dennis didn’t get the appointment because he was the most qualified lawyer in the greater Providence area. He got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks. For the past 34 years (1983 to 2015), Walt has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Waco area was about to offer him a good paying job. Who was the buffoon that said crime doesn’t pay? This is just another fine example of why the citizens have absolutely no faith in the manner in which federal and/or state judges are disciplined. It is undisputed that Judicial Misfits are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else. Having only judges sitting in judgment of judicial misconduct is an unmitigated joke. It would be the equivalent of limiting jurors sitting on a child molestation case to convicted pedophiles and then wondering why there are no convictions. As we speak (ca. December 2015), Smith the Perv remains sitting as a District Court judge in Waco despite the fact he isn’t performing any services on behalf of the taxpayers. |
