The Chamber of Commerce is going to make County Judge Scott Felton a hero and give him the 2024 Thomas G. Salome Jr. Legacy Award. For what I have no clue because County Judge Scott Felton is my CROOK OF THE YEAR. You just got to love a place that never questions a rich man in office, OR, a perceived rich man in office, or a man with a RICH ex brother in law and the obvious nepotism we have here.

I had to put this up because I wanted to heave a hairball when I read this man is getting some Legacy bullshit award. I wasn’t going to put this up because soon, YOU will see how “they do it”, remember that 30 something million John Erwin got from the county? Well, there’s more, much more, and soon you’ll see how they “play” with the CHANGE ORDERS to make the amount even higher and since the CHANGE ORDERS are not biddable outside, they just heap more money on Erwin that way too.

Chamber legacy award McLennan County Judge Scott Felton will receive the 2024 Thomas G. Salome Jr. Legacy Award from the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce during its Member Celebration scheduled Jan. 23 at the Waco Convention Center.

As an award recipient, Felton is being recognized for his leadership, impact, sustained investment of time and talent, innovative thinking and collaborative approaches to addressing community needs and opportunities, according to a statement from the Greater Waco Chamber. The event also will honor incoming chamber board Chair Kary Lalani, a local hotel owner and operator, and outgoing Chair Philip Patterson. The event “will also serve as the official start of the Greater Waco Chamber’s yearlong 125th anniversary celebration,” spokesperson Gabriella Colurciello said. Felton, who was raised on a ranch in the Elk community, served 30 years as president of Wells Fargo local operations before retiring. He was appointed county judge in 2012, and was last reelected in 2022.
