I worked along side alot of these jailers for nearly 10;yrs..some have retired, some passed away and some made career changes..the jail used to be a place we were proud to serve McLennan County but as the years progressed the ” good ole boy system” prevailed which included Sheriff Parnell, Ricky Armstrong, Mike Garrett and Karen Anderson..many were let go or forced to retire because of leadership…
