This all rings a familiar bell, although different circumstances. Smiling faces,(judges, lawyers) in this instance, have a strange way of turning a blind eye to “injustice”, misinterpret the rule of law to satisfy their personal animus. The judiciary is not impartial or without bias and Judge Vik’s court is no exception. “Push it through, get it done” seems to be the motto. Many of us realize it’s not what local judges know but who they know and where their loyalties lay; and not the rule of law. A shameful disservice to the innocent. The Johnnie Sharp dilemma stinks like five day old fish. It’s time someone does “right” by Johnnie and her rightful family instead of the pariahs.
