Barry Johnson sold caskets for a funeral home and was a personal injury attorney for more than two decades before he moved back to his hometown and ousted a two-term incumbent district attorney.
Johnson, 63, is a year into his new job as McLennan County district attorney and said it is challenging, rewarding and the best job he ever had.

Stem Jr. didn’t DEFEND my son, no, he recommended he go for the ten and when we pushed the poor little entitled lawyer to take this case to trial, he about cried. WHY? Because court appointed misfits make for gravy money, trials don’t.
WE all endured the biker trial, the Baylor rapes, and all manner of bullsh*T that managed to be a big waste of money. While watching a sentencing in Judge Vik Badscrabblehanddmjk’s court of a woman with three DWI’s and a gun charge, which got shrunk down to ONE DWI like a sweater in hot water. That gun charge, oh, drop that puppy. It’s just a gun in the hands of a drunk. No biggy.
When I went and asked Danielle London, the Prosecutrix, who, by the way, is STILL THERE why on earth the State would drop these charges, she began to tell me about the defendant’s PTSD and hard times. Now, this wasn’t a young man freshly shell shocked from war, or someone with no advantages, nope, it’s the Fire Chief’s wife and the Prosecutor, the PROSECUTOR, is acting as her defense attorney.

When people would call and complain about the Baylor Frat Boy rape where a man strangled a woman with his PENIS for crying out loud and got off, people had the right to complain to the DA without GOD being brought in to prop up one of the County’s most embarrassing and egregious pleas in history.
“Have a blessed day”, still answers the phone and is obviously nothing but an intake for gossip. You have to tell her who you are, and then WHO you are in relation to the world, then WHAT you want, and she’s just a bit too nosy for my taste and most everyone else’s.
Fire the bitch or put her somewhere away from the phone.
