I want to address the HOTBHN statement that you put up. Let me start by saying that it is a shame that grown adults feel the need to HIDE from donors and the public when they have a thief in the group (Parnell McNamara) is the perfect example of what is going on here. When did making people accountable become such a problem? I mean really! We have people going crazy with other people’s money and it all gets shoved under the rug so to speak.
This program helped so many people with disabilities and did so for 30 years prior to misappropriation of funds left the day care facility for handicapped shut down! This day care served the disabled in McLennan County for years the clients were given life skill training, social skills, art projects, meals, clothing, and so many things that the disabled community lost when Daniell Thompson sold the day care building.
Daniel Thompson literally single handedly squashed a program that was deep rooted in the McLennan County area for 30 years. This is an ongoing problem how did a program that was so finically stable end up having to borrow money for 401K? When you break the law no matter who you are justice should be equal across the board, and it is not. We need your readers to call complain call the County Commissioners and tell them we are tired of this mess!
Call the media tell them how this has impacted your family. But by all means hold these thieves accountable for the messes they have made!
