Barry Johnson  assisted Stephen Leonard ex Asst Chief of Police City of Bellmead to get a local woman INDICTED FOR BEING A DRUG INFORMANT-Johnson even went so far as to use the “indictment process” as the charging document against the woman-when NO OTHER PERSON IN MCLENNAN COUNTY HAD EVER BEEN INDICTED FOR THIS PARTICULAR CHARGE BEFORE… (it was a misdeamenor false alarm charge)  The woman was INDICTED on a false alarm charge in which she was accused of claiming that a close neighbor was a drug dealer(METHAMPHETAMINE)(on June 6 2022)  The neighbor she was accused of making the false alarm against HAD TWO PEOPLE LIVING IN HIS HOUSE WITH METHAMPHETAMINE CONVICTIONS at the time of the arrest…AND ONE OF THESE CONVICTED METH FELONS(TWICE CONVICTED FOR POSSESION OF METH) HAD BEEN ARRESTED  FOR POSSESION OF METH BY THE BELLMEAD PD THEMSELVES.   (This person is the live-in girlfriend of the man that the close neighbor was INDICTED/ARRESTED on a false alarm charge in which she was accused of making a false alarm charge against!!)

Barry Johnson encouraged and allowed his staff to continously interfere with and thwart the woman attempts to hire a Criminal Defense Attorney-various staff at the DA’s office would  “trash talk” and gossip about the woman to each and every prospective attorney  in such a malicious manner(THEY EVEN LIED MULTIPLE TIMES AND TOLD PROSPECTIVE ATTORNEYS THE WOMAN HAD MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES THAT WERE ABSOLUTELY NON-EXISTANT!!!!)  The lies and gossip from the DA staff were so malicious in nature and so relentless and defamatory that several Attorneys refused to accept the woman as a client.

She finally managed to hire an Attorney-and the DA staff told him an absolute lie that indicated she was facing multiple felony charges in addition to the misdeamenor false alarm charge-so the Attorney refunded her money and removed himself from her misdemeanor case!!(he said it was a complex felony and he only had time for the misdeamenor case-so he had to drop her as a client(THERE WERE NO FELONY CHARGES AGAINST HER_DA OFFICE LIED AGAIN)

She finally hired an attorney(She warned him about the DA staff “FELONY LIES” during the consultation-he checked it out and discovered there was only one misdeamenor charge..)

Even though the” Felony Charge Lie” was disregarded by the new attorney-and Barry Johnson had been replaced by Josh Tetens-the DA staff under Josh Tetens continously tried to interfere with relationship between the woman and her attorney via nasty and derogatory comments made about her to her attorney(her attorney would tell her about the derogatory comments the DA staff was making about her–TO HIM!!!)

The womans attorney told Josh Tetens that the woman should have never been INDICTED OR ARRESTED FOR THE FALSE ALARM CHARGE-and Josh Tetens agreed to dismiss the charges(They were dismissed “In the Interest Of Justice” on Sept 6 2023

A few days before the case was to be signed and dismissed-KAREN EVANS ASST CITY MANAGER MADE A WEIRD PHONE CALL TO JOSH TETENS IN WHICH SHE STATED THAT “SHE HAD CALLED THE BELLMEAD PD ON THE SAME WOMAN BECAUSE SHE DESCRIBED THE CITY OF BELLMEAD AS “BEING CORRUPT” IN A REMARK SHE MADE TO THE BELLMEAD MUNICIPAL CLERK DURING A PHONE INQUIREY ABOUT THE STATUS OF JUNKED VEHICLES AND AN ILLEGAL POULTRY FARM ON HER STREET”

Karen Evans was making an attempt to interfere with the dismissal of the false alarm charge by making that phone call-trying to “influence” Josh Tetens (IT DIDNT WORK)
Its not illegal to criticize local government-thats the legal right of anyone in Texas..   But it is illegal to attempt Obstruction of Justice  (like Karen Evans did by making that phone call)  Its also illegal to violate someones right to free speech by calling the police on a person for criticizing their local government in a phone conversation…There are other Texas laws that Karen Evans violated when she used a non-public remark made by a Bellmead Citizen in an attempt to harm them…

Josh Tetens should have taken legal action against Karen Evans,Barry Johnson and the various members of his staff (DA staff members were interfering with the womans  RIGHTS OF DUE PROCESS BY INTERFERING WITH HER ATTEMPTS TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY)

Back to Barry Johnson and Bellmead PD–Barry Johnson knew that there was a woman who had been arrested for meth possession by Bellmead PD living in the house where the man she had been  charged with making a false alarm against also lived when she reported that there was ongoing meth deals being made for over two years  THE WOMAN TOLD BARRY JOHNSON(in a letter) THAT STEPHEN LEONARD GOT EXTREMELY ANGRY WHEN SHE TOLD HIM SHE KNEW THERE WAS A WOMAN LIVING IN THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET WHO BELLMEAD PD HAD ARRESTED FOR POSSESION OF METH -and that she went to Huntsville for two years as a result of that arrest  The woman wrote Barry Johnson a letter and told him there was a convicted meth felon living across the street  -the letter was dated around Sept 22 2022(SHE was indicted on the false alarm charge on Sep 29 2022_)

The woman who was indicted on that “phoney” false alarm charge had told a Bellmead PD Officer named Jessie Harker that a man and his live-in girlfriend were delivering meth to vehicles that were being driven up to the street  just a few feet across the street from a property she owned in an ongoing manner  She was totally unaware that the live-in girlfriend had been arrested for meth possession at the time she made the report to Jesse Harker(on June 6 2022)   The woman didnt know the name of the Live-in girlfriend until mid-August 2022-after she discovered her name from a neighbor,she did a dps check and found out Bellmead PD had arrested her a few years earlier om meth possession-and that she had two meth convictions
 The woman included the live in girlfriend along with her boyfriend when she made the report of meth dealing to Jesse Harker on june 6 2022   She also told Stephen Leonard(late August 2022) and Barry Johnson (in a letter late Sept 2022) about the live-in girlfriends Bellmead Meth Arrest

Jesse Harker,Stephen Leonard and Barry Johnson were all aware that the woman had reported ongoing meth deals to Bellmead Pd (AND TO EXDA BARRY JOHNSON) involving the man who lived across the street AND HIS LIVE IN GIRLFRIEND in the summer of 2022

Jesse Harker, Stephen Leonard and Barry Johnson  never mentioned the live-in girlfriends name in the report that was presented to a GRAND JURY on sept 29 2022-they only mentioned the man(BECAUSE HIS LIVE_IN GIRLFRIEND WAS ARRESTED BY CITY OF BELLMEAD FOR METH-AND THEY ALL KNEW IT)   
The man didnt have a meth conviction-so they presented his name to a GRAND JURY that and left  the girlfriends name out of the report.

Not only that-but the woman had also reported another man and woman for “meth dealing” at this address in addition to the man and his live-in girlfriend to Bellmead Pd before she made the june 6 2022 report to Jesse Harker   She didnt know their names but described them as a biker female with blonde hair and a guy in a blue truck

She found out from a neighbor after the Indictment/arrest  that the man in the blue truck was the son of the man she was indicted/arrested over AND THAT HE HAD A METH POSSESSION CONVICTION..she also found out the Biker Female she had reported was arrested for Meth Possession  (but not convicted)

All of the above people with meth-related convictions and charges are still hanging around vehicles and conducting obvious drug deals at the same address on  a pretty frequent basis

Bellmead PD lied to Grand Jury and claimed they did a thorough investigation about the allegations of meth dealing surrounding this travesty of justice   THEY DID NO SUBSTANTIAL OR THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF ANYTHING CONCERNING THE DRUG ACTIVITY AT THAT ADDRESS WHATSOEVER

I believe Bellmead Pd is buying meth from the residents of the aforementioned  house
and that is why an innocent person was INDICTED FOR BEING A DRUG INFORMANT

Bellmead Pd also told that man and his live in girlfriend that the neighbor who they falsely persecuted and arranged to get indicted over a good faith report about drug dealing that included lots of circumstantial and substantiated evidence to support it-BELLMEAD PD TOLD THE MAN THAT THE NEIGHBOR HAD BEEN REPORTING HIS HOUSE FOR METH ACTIVITY-and that they got her arrested for doing so(THE MAN KNOWS DETAILS ABOUT THE METH REPORTS-HE HAS TOLD OTHERS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD ABOUT SPECIFIC METH REPORTS MADE BY THE WOMAN TO BELLMEAD PD-and one of the neighbors warned the woman that Bellmead PD was “TIPPING THE GUY OFF”
