A question that I have for Parnell! If he was a deputy us Marshal – why doesn’t he have an amazing retirement like the rest of them or most of them do! Oh that’s right because He ( as well as many others during the 80’s ) held the the classification of a While As Employed / WAE appointed Special Deputy US Marshal Because he and Mike had a letter from one of the agencies directors granting them a lifetime appointment, when the WAE program was eliminated they sued the US Government and the case went before a federal judge in the Western District of Texas Austin The ruling was in their favor and they were allowed to stay in their position The court documents should be on record in the federal district clerks office It was sometime between 1995 and 1999 But a lifetime appointment as a temp us marshal gets you nothing for retirement! Must be why he needs to be sheriff still so he can get that retirement!
