ANOTHER DUD FROM PARNELL
I have an admission to make. I occasionally go look at ole Becky Jean’s Facebook page. She likes to post so much that I assume she is lonely and wants attention. That and she’s so stupid it’s entertaining. This is the same woman who thinks that when A.C. talks about the Grim Reaper coming to visit Parnell, it’s some sort of threat to his life and that criminal charges should be brought. It’s not like Parnell is an elderly man with health problems. 77 years old is certainly much closer to the grave than the cradle, especially considering the lifespans of the men in his family. Honestly, has anyone who’s actually talked to Parnell walked away thinking that he was mentally and physically fit for office? Although, for a man his age, he’s in better health than some. Of course, many men his age are also in nursing homes, so you have to consider that.
Anyways, besides tearing up her own Parnell sign and blaming Jeff’s supporters for it, she’s posted a “fact check” from Parnell’s people about Jeff. At least one can only assume she tore up her own sign since someone mentioned in the comments that her cameras should have caught them in the act. Yet they didn’t….
But back to Becky’s “fact check.” They obtained records from the Sheriff Office that Jeff resigned from the jail in 1997. Twenty-six years ago Jeff resigned. That would put him in his mid 20s and Parnell in his mid 50s. At that point Parnell had already been deemed too old to continue to me a US Marshal.
The “fact check” goes on to argue that due to the circumstances of his resignation that he’s not fit to hold office. Strangely, they don’t bother to include the actual details of that resignation, just snippets. Maybe I’m just a cynic but I find that pretty suspect, almost like the details would show it to be pretty insignificant.
Then again, details have never been Parnell’s strong suit. Just like him “saving” the old woman from the bitcoin scammers. He stole money from the bitcoin company to give to the old lady. The scammer got paid, the old lady got paid, the company got stolen from by the state and sued. Those pesky little details get left out of Parnell’s story of how it went down.
So Jeff resigned from the jail, who cares? I certainly don’t. Neither does Parnell, Hewitt PD, the US Government, or the DA Office. I say they don’t care because all of those agencies hired Jeff. Now does ole Becky believe that none of those agencies did a background check? Are Parnell and his people so incompetent that they do not have access to their own records? Did they just not do a background check? I believe they did a background check and this was such a nothing-burger that it did not matter at all. It only matters because Parnell isn’t looking too good so it’s time to dig up some records from the 1900s and do some ole fashion mud slinging.
