WITH A SHOUT OUT TO ERMIE ABOUT HER HUSBAND’S ZIPPER
Chris, Chris, Chris. You’ve always been an arrogant prick, but I didn’t realize you were this clueless. Like most things coming from Parnell and his people, his post is long on personal attacks and short on actual substance and detail.
Let’s look at Evans’ career. He says he was promoted under the last two sheriffs. He is correct. He attained the exalted rank of Jail Corporal under Sheriff Lynch. Everything else in his career (if you can call it that) he owes mainly to Cody Blossman.
Under Parnell, Chris was promoted from Jail Corporal to Patrol Deputy, which makes it somewhat weird that he talks about policing under Lynch. I’m not sure what he actually would know about patrolling the county and how crimes are investigated from his spot in the jail.
Moving on, Chris was promoted to patrol where he met his new bff/daddy, Cody Blossman. Chris, Cody, Sam Blanco, and Matt Cunningham (who endorses Jeff by the way), were the FAST team before there was a FAST team. So they would run around serving warrants while the other deputies on the shift would take care of the actual calls for service that came in.
After the FAST team was formed, Chris was one of the founding members and promoted to an “investigator” rank. Not that he did actual police work, but that’s beside the point. He would later be promoted to Sergeant in the FAST team. So technically he has some supervisor experience there. If you can consider running around with your buddies kicking in doors (sometimes the wrong doors), as supervisor experience.
Then after Ricky Armstrong and company finally had enough of Parnell’s bullshit and all left, Chris made the jump from FAST Sgt to Captain at the jail. I’m very curious whether Evans holds any license other than a basic Jailer license through TCOLE.
And I’m not saying that Chris Evans is a toxic leader at the jail, but the HR complaints against him speak volumes. That, and the numerous jailers who absolutely hate having him as a boss. I guess I’m just idealistic, but I don’t believe that cussing and belittling your staff has any place in any job.
So having summed up Evans’ “career”, let’s move on to his post. He talks about how Jeff is just running on lies, yet never points out any of those lies. It’s about like ole Becky Jean who continually talks about Jeff’s lies, yet has never seemed to actually point out what any of those lies are.
Jeff is running on “old sob stories from disgruntled ex-employees” and “a few insignificant local police officers that burned bridges along the way.” Once again the phrase “arrogant prick” comes to mind. Now please correct me if I’m wrong, but I have YET to see any former SO employee endorse Parnell. I know that in their mind they can’t ever be wrong, it must be the universe that’s the problem, but come on.
Also, let’s talk about those “few insignificant local police officers.” Waco PD voted to endorse Jeff by 78%. SEVENTY-EIGHT FUCKING PERCENT. While Parnell got 10%. Guess all but 10% of Waco PD falls under that description. Hewitt PD endorsed Jeff. I guess they fall under that description. Constable Strickland endorsed Jeff. I guess he falls under that description too.
I’ve actually yet to see any local law enforcement endorsement of Parnell. Parnell’s own employees didn’t even vote to endorse him. The Sheriff’s Office Association never actually voted on whether to endorse Parnell. They voted when it was Plemons v Parnell. They voted when it was Swanton V Parnell. Yet this time, NO VOTE. The board just decided that they were gonna endorse him.
Now if Jeff is spewing lies and Parnell is so great, why didn’t they let his own employees vote on whether to endorse him?
But all these are actual issues, so they won’t be addressed by Parnell, Chris Evans, Ermie or anyone else associated with his campaign.
And so far as Ermie’s post. If she thinks her husband is loyal and faithful, BLESS HER HEART…..
