This is an old lawsuit but my goodness it’s fun. A Mexican couple named Rios made the mistake of buying property from the Bosqueville Banshee and then they had hard times and didn’t pay. Even after they paid and caught up, Char, who was supposed to NOT foreclose on them as part of the legal settlement, oh, yeah, she did anyway, because she’s the wife of the High Sheriff.
THIS is Char. Mean because she has Par and various deputies to come up and get her gnarly fingers out of the faces of other people she’s trying to intimidate with her fingers, that mole, and WHO her husband is.
THIS is what happens when it ‘goes to their head”,and boy, did it.

They did what they were supposed to do BUT Char, FORECLOSED ON THEM ANYWAY
The Rios Couple objected to the additional fees and Char threatened to “board up the windows of the house and file criminal charges against the Plaintiffs. The threat of criminal prosecution terrified Cindy Rios, hell, just the sight of Char would terrify anyone, and Char made sure and often reminded Mrs. Rios that SHE WAS THE WIFE OF THE HIGH SHERIFF.
They paid the money they owed and Char foreclosed on them anyway.
