READER NOT BUYING PAR BULLSHIT/SPIN

Good Friday y’all, I have been asked by a lot of people why I have decided to cast my vote for Jeff Aguirre in March.

First, let me start by saying I lost all respect for the sheriff when he injected himself into the DA’s race last election. 

Not only was his action completely unprofessional and quite frankly disgusting

Parnell’s behavior also showed me his total lack of character.

Fact: Parnell McNamara did a television commercial for the candidate that he personally supported it was a lie, he leads the public to believe that the sitting DA let a cold-blooded killer back on the street, that was a lie.

Fact: The DA’s office did not, Judge West’s ruling set the way for a dismissal however this guy was in Bell County not on our streets another one of Parnell McNamara’s scare-the-public tactics.

I started doing my due diligence.  

Always keep in mind when you seek attention in words or actions it can come back to haunt you.

I like everyone else want to know who is spending our tax money.

Fact: My research showed that when Parnell McNamara was appointed as a US Deputy there were virtually no qualifications necessary in law enforcement.

Fact: He was deputized and bam he was a  US Deputy Marshall. No experience required

I need to add for clarification, I don’t give a rats behind what your father or your grandfather did. I want to know Parnell McNamara’s qualifications, seems like there were not any.

Fact: A US Deputy Marshall’s job is to transport prisoners and is the security for the US Court House and the Judges with occasional assistance on high-profile cases in the county.  

Fact: His business management of Jack Harwell and Hwy 6 along with his lack of leadership have cost us way too many employees and money this shows his lack of leadership ability.

Fact: Parnell McNamara cost the Taxpayers approximately $600,000.00 when he first took office because he had a personal vendetta against deputies who did not support him.

The judgment was $2,000,000.00 total, insurance paid all but the $600,000.00 that they paid with our tax money.

Fact: He fired deputies because they did not support him during his election run… I would think we taxpayers should question that.

After all are supposed to be a democracy.

We should be able to vote without worry of retaliation or intimidation.

Fact: Parnell McNamara got and served a search warrant on a bitcoin machine retrieved evidence, then gave that evidence back to the complainant. He either did not know or did not care that due process applies to everyone. A cadet in training learns about due process and seizure law!

(And we the citizens in fact did pay it back with taxpayer money!)

Fact: Parnell McNamara was not required to go to a certified academy ever!

Edit: Fact Parnell McNamara has never worked as an administrator, investigator, patrol officer, jailer, or trained law enforcement officers. 

Now on to why I made my choice to vote for Jeff Aguirre.

Fact: Jeff has actually managed and organized large Police Forces he has trained large police forces with multimillion-dollar budgets.

Fact: He has been in the jailer’s position, he has been in a deputy position, he has been in an investigator’s position, he has been a patrol officer, he has trained officers, and he has been a proven administrator.

Fact: Jeff Aguirre has the education, hand on experience, leadership ability, knowledge, and integrity to turn our jail and Sheriff’s Department into a respected organization again.

Since I first posted this, it is apparent I was correct in my choice for Sheriff of McLennan County! Vote Jeff Aguirre for Sheriff of McLennan County!
