“I don’t know” isn’t always a bad place to be.
Chris Eubank leaving, really leaving, certainly surprised me. Bet I wasn’t alone in that. Having him leave is stunning because one truly saw Chris as a young man growing up with Parnell and now we wondered how much more he could either “take” of Par and vapid Char, of course, the exit of Kilcrease and death of Steve January moved the chess pieces around and Par was on the spot, faced with a choice and put a much less experienced man “in” as Captain. Immediately Cody thought this was because he was “better”, but in fact, it would seem moving your brother’s body trumped taking some test for Par, allegedly, way back then.
To me, none of it matters now, it has vaporized.
The recent well thought out and executed “Posts” for lack of a better word, put out by ex deputies and their just excellent, talented wives say nothing on the surface. To many, even me, this is a disappointment, at first blush.
What is even more telling and yet a deepening of the mystery, at least for me, is the extreme show of support last night and today for Eubank and his “Post”.
His “likes” and comments reached 200 last night around nine and after sending him a friend request that became 201.

Today he wrote this and it’s cryptic, somewhat like an ad for the old SMI circa 1986, but it is garnishing “likes” and memes as we speak.

If there’s one thing I learned over the past 11 years of managing nearly 80 employees, it’s that you must listen to your people! Thank your employees, listen to your employees, provide them with the best tools you can to do the job! Be fair, be polite, be thankful and most of all make them feel part of the team!
