I want to thank retired McLennan County Sheriff’s Captain Karen Anderson for her recent FB post regarding the importance of change at the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office. Over the last 10 years, so many men and women of the sheriff’s office have resigned or retired because they could not stand the lack of integrity within the McLennan County Sheriff’s administration.
As a former chief deputy, I witnessed first hand how the upper management manipulated, schemed and violated rules, policies and law to accomplish an agenda that, at times, was childish, immature and beneath the office of any law enforcement officer.
We all have a voice in change as we move forward. Please vote for Jeff Aguirre for McLennan County Sheriff in the Republican primary. Let’s bring real integrity back to the office of sheriff.
