That rocket example of success, Erin Jessica Spruiell, at the McLennan County Jail, directly under California Sunshine. She is that prodigy who went from Corporal to Lieutenant, such a success story, she actually skipped a rank in between, has a not so well hidden message for those who seem to have been unhappy with their experience in the glow of Sunshine.
Your rise to role model hasn’t gone unnoticed, hope all the girls are learning from a true role model.
Too bad Our Sheriff for Life doesn’t let deputies and jailers have body cams. If there were body cams we could see the LOVE at the jail.
No body cams. No pictures of all manner of fun in the parking lot. Nope.

Erin’s nickname at the jail is “Meg”, in reference to La Vergne PD’s Maegan Hall, yes the knee pad queen that was caught doing 5 of her co-workers.

Oh, I have heard all about it all from oh, so many people. They’re in love, you know that’s hard to hide. That stuff never ends well. This won’t either.
I wondered how long it would take for SO employees to start being “encouraged” to post supportive content on their social media.
I believe she’s telling the truth though. If I were her, I would also forward to never having to face all the stuff she’s done to get where she is.
Those can’t be pleasant memories.

As a long time employee at the jail,who has worked under multiple administrations I would like to say this.
The jail has a culture right now of immature, undereducated, and unexperienced officers soley as a result of the hiring age, and lack of interest in law enforcement as a whole.
Lt. Spruell is one of good ones regardless of what some may believe. Most dont know shes paid out of her very own pocket for two entire shifts, both jails to eat during officer appreciation week. She has volunteered countless hours of her time to mentir, tutor, provide study material to help ensure the success of the cadets at the academy.
She has watched employees children on her off days so that they could work when they didnt have support or day care.
She answeres text messages from officers with questions throughout the day and night. She genuinely cares about the system, the people both employees and inmates, and has been drug through the mu even by the last administration for speaking up about legitimate liability issues that were founded.
I return to work eachday with the intent to stand bye and protect my fellow employees, to ensure they get home at night.
The change of the new administration was stressful to start, but to see that change taking shape, to watch the vision of Captain Conley, and Captain Evans come together, I can say I feel better about the decision to stay everyday.
Lt.Spruiell is a position that I myself have heard others say, they would never do. Her job is to find problems, flaws, and identify the ones creating them.
Thank god, she is not there as a social call.
The old administration had an opportunity to make change whole they were there and they did. Sometimes employees didnt understand or agree, so they too, good some great decided to part ways. Armstrong, Anderson, and Garrett made the same decision together. If its a regretted decision, it was their own.
Lastly, Captain Conley, Captain Evans, Lt. Spruiell, Lt Reeves. and a few others make a difference. The willingness to come out, talk with us, ask us hard questions and discuss solutions make us feel valued.
You are enabling the same treatment you claim to be speaking out against, how does that work?
Would you like to write about her being called KNEE PADS at work? Would you like to talk about the police being called to her house for a domestic? I have the police report, already printed that, but you knew that. She and Conoley are said to be having SEX, all this bullshit you write up here, fine, but it doesn’t change how she got promoted. Sure she makes great casseroles, her house is clean, she loves Jesus, but fucking your boss…………….write me about that.
OH, and the reputation of the jail is way out there too, you are hiring terrible people because no one wants to work there. They don’t want to work there because they don’t want to have to slob the nob of the big guy. Wake the hell up. EVERYONE knows. I’m surprised no one has sent me photos yet. Hmmm.
