Too bad ole Parnell and the boys didn’t realize that Travis County has and has had the TEXAS TRANSPARENCY ACT so there’s no favors, no good ole boy’s club, by State mandate. See, the State of Texas knows that corruption can’t live in the light of day, that public servants should not be able to hide what they do. It keeps them honest and doesn’t put a burden on the others to make the decision to keep silent or tell on their fellow officers. Hmmm. It also helps that the Sheriff in Travis County is one Sallie Hernandez.
Wake up it’s not 1950 in the rest of the State, you just can’t get other people to push old women around because you used to be the Stud Muffin, now people laugh at us, we have a Sheriff Has Been who sings racists songs at the Sheriff’s convention, moved his brother’s body, and is one sneaky little devil these days.
In Travis County deputies can be comfortable with one another and not have to stand by and watch the erosion of ethics around them for money every single day.
Stop the corruption at the top, do something to boost morale.
